Observation Instance – Django REST framework

Get a list of Observation objects.

### Available end points:

- `/observations/` - Will list all Results in the database
- `/observations.json` - Will return all Results in json format. This can
also be achieved by using the accept header. `application/json`
- `/observations/<object_id>/` - Returns Results object with that id

### Available Methods:

- `GET`
- `HEAD`

### Available filters:

- `title`
- `uuid`
- `keywords`
- `status`
- `result_field`
- `discoveryKeywords`
- `updateFrequency`
- `nonGeographicFlag`
- `publicationState`
- `permissions`

### How to use filters:

These filters can be used like django query filters using __ for related model relationships.

- `/observations/?results_field__dataPath__startswith=/neodc/esacci`
- `/observations/?discoveryKeywords__name=ESACCI`

Filters can be stacked to build an 'AND' relationship. E.g.

- `/observations/?publicationState__in=published,citable&nonGeographicFlag=True`
- `/observations/?publicationState__in=published,citable&discoveryKeyword__name=NDGO0003`

It combines data from both the Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR ) and Along Track Scanning Radiometer (ATSR) SST_cci Climate Data Records, using a data assimilation method to provide SSTs where there were no measurements.  These data cover the period between 09/1981 and 12/2016.\r\n\r\nThe dataset has been produced as part of the European Space Agency (ESA) Climate Change Initiative Sea Surface Temperature project(ESA SST_cci). The data products from SST_cci accurately map the surface temperature of the global oceans over the period 1981 to 2016 using observations from many satellites. The data provide independently quantified SSTs to a quality suitable for climate research.\r\n\r\nThe CDR Version 2.1 product supercedes the CDR Version 2.0 product.
